Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented, hands-on Business Operations Manager to take ownership of cross-functional Business and IT Operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a single point of ownership for tracking operational activities and ensuring timely closure.
  • Coordinate closely with HR, Finance, and Delivery teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Prepare and maintain operational reports, status updates, and summaries for leadership review.
  • Oversee employee timecards to ensure accurate and timely completion.
  • Track and follow up on missing or incorrect entries.
  • Effectively use the ServiceNow Resource Management application for time and resource tracking.
  • Track Professional Services (PS) hiring requirements.
  • Coordinate candidate sourcing, resume updates, interview scheduling, feedback, and follow-ups.
  • Ensure end-to-end coordination through the hiring and onboarding process.
  • Track invoicing and billing activities as per customer SOWs.
  • Ensure billing and invoice data is accurately entered and maintained in QuickBooks and ServiceNow billing systems.
  • Support payroll coordination for India and U.S. employees by validating and tracking required inputs.
  • Work closely with HR and Finance teams to ensure payroll and billing timelines are met.
  • Use ServiceNow as the central platform for operational tracking and coordination.
  • Create, update, and manage records across Incident, Change, Problem, and Service Catalog modules.
  • Support operational reporting and visibility through ServiceNow.
  • Work with custom ServiceNow applications related to business and operations management.

Required Skills & Experience

3–6 years of experience in Business Operations, IT Operations, Project Coordination, PMO, or Operations Management.

Strong hands-on experience using ServiceNow as an operational tool.

Proven ability to independently drive execution, follow-ups, and task closure.

Experience coordinating across HR, Finance, and Delivery teams.

High attention to detail with strong tracking and organizational skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Ability to manage multiple parallel tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Commerce, Information Systems, or Computer Applications.

Master’s degree (MBA / PGDM or equivalent) is a plus.

Good to Have

Experience in IT services or consulting environments.

Exposure to billing, payroll, hiring coordination, or workforce operations.

ServiceNow CSA or similar certification.
