Job Title: Senior Full Stack Developer, AI

Role Overview

Join a fast-moving product team building real-world AI tools used by healthcare professionals. We’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer with strong AI development experience who can take ownership of complex technical challenges, from architecting backend systems to designing and deploying AI-powered features in production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Backend Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems using Python and Django, ensuring scalability and performance. Collaborate with engineering team members to implement machine learning models and AI algorithms that generate actionable insights. Ensure data security, compliance, and integrity across all integrations. Partner with the Analytics Engineer to optimize data pipelines and processing frameworks.
  • Frontend Development: Build and enhance user-friendly, data-rich web interfaces and dashboards. Develop frontend components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.
  • System Integration & Maintenance: Work extensively with RESTful and JSON-based APIs to enable seamless data exchange across platforms. Manage cloud services and deployment environments (Azure experience preferred). Support system integration with HubSpot and other third-party platforms.
  • Collaboration & Reporting: Engage with business stakeholders, including AI and engineering teams, to understand and implement project requirements. Offer technical insights to improve product functionality and development roadmap. Actively participate in Agile processes such as sprint planning and code reviews, using Azure Boards for project tracking and task management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proficient in Python with experience using Django REST framework.
  • Skilled in database management, especially with MySQL and PostgreSQL.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and manage secure and scalable APIs.
  • Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one modern frontend framework such as React.js.
  • Comfortable building functional, responsive interfaces designed by a UI/UX designer.
  • Experience creating responsive designs and working with established design systems.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud technologies, particularly Azure (Azure App Service, Azure SQL, Azure DevOps).
  • Version control using Git and Azure Repos, with familiarity with Azure DevOps pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
  • Strong understanding of data governance and security standards.
  • 4+ years of experience building and deploying AI/ML systems in real-world production applications.
  • Strong hands-on experience with generative AI, RAG pipelines, and agentic AI frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex, AutoGen).
  • Integrate and maintain ML models within Django-based APIs and UI dashboards.
  • Collaborate with data and analytics teams to extract actionable insights.
  • Experience with model deployment, performance monitoring, and integration workflows.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines via Azure DevOps, automated testing, and containerization tools (Docker).
  • Bonus: Familiarity with HubSpot CMS development.

Preferred Skills

  • Prior experience in the dental or healthcare industry.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.

Experience & Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of full stack development experience, with a strong emphasis on backend systems and AI/ML integration.
  • Previous experience in a senior or lead developer role in startup or high-growth environments is a plus.
